Hospitality - Matt Mealey

I moved to Los Angeles with my domestic partner and our dog, in the 1980s for three reasons: first, to enjoy the wonderful weather; second, for the economic opportunity, and third, for the Southern California lifestyle. And I must say, that despite the current economic stress, we have never regretted our decision to become Californians. I have previously lived in Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh, PA, Richmond, VA, and Ridgefield, CT. I served many years in Philadelphia on a neighborhood board of directors and on a zoning committee. After a few years of teaching, I decided that real estate investing and sales were preferable occupations for me. So, here we are in Tarzana for the past thirteen years – and very happy! I believe that a strong homeowners association is necessary to protect the character of Tarzana as a wonderful place to live and work.
